Emergency Guide

  • Tap the emergency call icon – the app activates the emergency process and offers to call 112. This must be confirmed.
  • The Can’t Talk button allows you to request help if you are unable to speak or face a language barrier.

Cross-border Functionality

Help without borders, even in other countries. You can rely on the app not only in Moldova, but also in Austria, Bavaria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Finland.

The emergency app connects directly to the emergency number 112. When the call begins, important data about your location, health profile and the incident itself is transmitted in supported areas. Only the telephone call or SMS chat with the 112 center activates the rescue operation.

In addition to the emergency call, you will find:.

  • Places of interest: Shows locations of defibrillators, hospitals with emergency rooms, emergency clinics and police stations.
  • Warnings & notices: You can select the areas for which you want to receive alerts about crisis situations in your surroundings.
  • Rules of conduct & first aid: Contains important tips for emergencies.

If you do not speak the local language or are unable to speak for medical or other reasons, the “Can’t talk” function in supported areas allows you to convey important information about the emergency situation. After pressing the button, a structured form appears where you select the situation closest to yours. The app then sends all relevant data to the emergency number 112 and initiates an SMS chat with the emergency services.

No. For security reasons and due to Google and Apple requirements, the app is not allowed to activate GPS automatically. However, you will be prompted to turn it on.

Yes, the app also works fully in Austria, Bavaria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Finland. When you make an emergency call, your location is transmitted and you are connected to the appropriate control center. The list of fully supported countries is continuously being expanded. Outside these countries, the European emergency number 112 is dialed.

The GPS signal may be restricted in buildings. The app works best outdoors.

Some phones, especially Xiaomi, Huawei, and Motorola, have built-in protection against unwanted messages. Unfortunately, important messages, such as confirmation SMS messages from the emergency call app, are sometimes mistakenly classified as spam and either hidden in the spam folder or not displayed to the user at all.

That’s why we’ve prepared instructions on how to find the spam/blocked folder and unblock the message.

1) Open the Messages app.

2) Right-click on the profile.

3) Select Spam and Blocked Messages.

4) Open the message.

5) Select “Unblock” and use the code to confirm.

Registering your name and phone number enables faster and more accurate assistance in an emergency. Additional profile data such as medical information and emergency contacts can be transmitted only through verification. This information helps the control center to better assess the situation and respond appropriately – which is particularly important in complex or medical emergencies. The data is stored exclusively locally on your device and is not transferred to servers.

After downloading the app, enter your first name, last name, and phone number. You will receive a text message with a confirmation code, which you enter in the app. Your number will then be verified. Please also fill in the user profile section with medical information and emergency contacts. This data is not stored on servers, but only locally on your device.

Verifying your phone number is important for activating the app and ensuring the security of the emergency call functionality. However, you can still also dial 112 on your phone without the mobile app.

The app works on smartphones with the Android (version 8.0 or higher) and iOS (version 16.0 or higher) operating systems. It cannot be used on tablets, notebooks, or desktop computers, as an automatic voice call is part of the emergency call.

The app can always dial the emergency number. Without an internet connection, data transmission may be limited in some cases.

A mobile phone signal is required for the call.

No, this is not possible due to technical limitations imposed by the device manufacturers. But you can place a Widget on your home screen to activate the app faster.

The app uses your location to determine which country you are in. If you are on the border between two countries, both neighboring countries can receive the information so that they can respond more efficiently.

No. For security reasons and due to Google and Apple requirements, the app is not allowed to activate GPS automatically. However, you will be prompted to turn it on.
